The idea for Resource4Families began 20 years ago when I was teaching a class with students ranging in age from 5-12. These students all needed:

 

• A structure that allowed them to have their own individual learning plans.

• An environment that supported them in developing independence in their learning.

• A mentor to guide and support them.

​And guess what.... this is exactly what needs to happen when you homeschool. You need structure, individualized learning, an environment to support that learning, and a mentor. That mentor is you, the parents!

 

Remember I boldly said YOU DON'T NEED A FANCY CURRICULUM. That statement is true but I'm sure it leaves you wondering:
             How can I do this without a curriculum? 
             What do I do?
             Where do I start?
This is where Resource4Families comes to life.  You will find classes that have helped families answer these questions and learn how to become the mentor your child/children need
